The last post, Daily Affirmations (Using Bible Verses) was a big hit. So I’ve gathered more verses for additional topics in Part 2. To refresh your memories: daily affirmations are phrases that you speak to yourself, in order to shift into a positive mindset. However, we don’t want to just speak anything aloud. We want the word of God to guide our minds and hearts. Additionally, there is real power in the word of God (Isaiah 55:11). Wouldn’t Bible verses be the best tools to use as daily affirmations? Check out this guide for verses regarding direction, confidence, financial blessing, personal conflict, and more!

The Process

As we covered in Part 1, pick out a few verses from the Bible that speak life on a topic that you are currently hoping to improve. If I wanted more joy in my life (who doesn’t!), I would memorize the verses listed above. I would read the chapter in full at least once to make sure that I am understanding the scripture in context. Then, the key moving forward is to speak these verses out loud regularly, at least once in the morning and once at night. “The tongue has the power of life and death” (Proverbs 18:21). To aid the process, I would post the verses all over my home and office: mirrors, the refrigerator, even the wallpaper on my mobile phone.

I’m so excited to fill my life and environment with God’s word. If you haven’t yet checked out Part 1, head over to Daily Affirmations (Using Bible Verses). There you will find verses to speak over anxiety, strength, depression, loneliness, protection, healing and forgiveness.
